Additional privileges bill passed for chairman senate and members
In Senate, privileges of members, including chairman and deputy chairman, have been increased wisely, PPP and PTI came to patch and passed bill to increase level of privileges for themselves, while Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani Came hard on media and people for raising questions
Details of additional benefits to members of Upper House including Chairman and Deputy Chairman of Senate have come to light. Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has declared additional privileges as his right despite economic and financial situation of the country.
Despite the worst economic situation of the country approaching bankruptcy, the upper house passed the bill to give additional benefits to all members including its chairman and deputy chairman.
According to the bill approved by the Senate, if the Chairman of the Senate goes on an official visit outside the country, he will be given the equivalent protocol of the Deputy Head of State or the Vice President.
According to the Pass Bill, the family members of the Senate Chairman can also use official vehicles, while the members of the Senate Chairman’s family will be allowed to use the official plane.

Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani called it his right instead of regretting the additional facilities. The Chairman of the Upper House said that it is not possible to work as a beggar for the nation.
According to the bill passed by the Senate, the limit for the renovation and decoration of the chairman’s house has been increased to 50 lakh rupees, while earlier this limit was limited to only 1 lakh rupees.
Citing the example of India, the Chairman Senate said that there senators get pension after retirement, while here we do not get anything, they cannot serve the nation by being beggars.
Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani has increased the allowance of 6 thousand rupees allotted to him to 50 thousand rupees, while the discretionary fund has also been increased from 6 lakh to 18 lakh rupees.
The daily allowance for the chairman’s official visit has been increased from Rs.1750 to Rs.10 thousand, while the special rate of Rs.4800 for each day’s stay has been increased to Rs.15 thousand.
Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani expressed his indignation at the questions being raised in the media and public.
In the new law, the standard of vehicle for Chairman Senate has been increased from 1300 cc to 1600 cc, while Sadiq Sanjrani will also get 300 liters of free petrol per month.
All members of the Senate, including the ruling party Muslim League-Nun, Pakistan People’s Party and the opposition party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), voted in favor of the bill.
In the private bills passed by the upper house, not only the chairman and deputy chairman but also the daily allowance, mileage allowance and travel allowance of all the members have been increased.
Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani has said that we are public representatives and we have the right. We will take all privileges, the rent of the house is 2.5 lakhs, the house is not available in this amount.
In the upper house, the government and opposition members passed the private bills jointly and declared that they would not impose any financial burden on the country, which is a complete misrepresentation.
The government and opposition members have cleverly increased various allowances, privileges and facilities without making them a part of the budget document.
