The video of a woman fighting and beating a policeman in Lahore went viral on social media.
The woman can be seen smacking the policeman while using abusive language in the area of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in Lahore.
The Lahore police chief has taken notice of the incident and an FIR has been registered. However, the suspect has not been arrested yet.
According to witness outside a coffee chain named Gloria Jeans within remits of Defence Police Station, Khanza was allegedly consuming drugs in a car with her friend. With the police arriving on the scene, the girl hurled pejoratives at the policemen. It didn’t stop here but the verbal attack turned into a scuffle and the suspect showered the policeman with punches.
As per the details, the woman and her friend were engaged in a rough and tumbled fight with the policeman.
However, the police officers were acting restraint.
Meanwhile, Lahore Police Chief Omar Sheikh took notice of the incident and ordered the arrest of the suspects. He also commended the police personnel who showed self-restraint.

The police have registered a case against Khanza and her accomplice. The woman originally hails from Kharian city in Punjab, according to the police.
The SHO of Defence Police Station told News360 that raids have been carried out in Lahore, Islamabad, and Kharian to arrest the two suspects but the police have not been successful yet.
The Police Chief of Lahore has condemned the incident and expressed that it is insulting for a police officer to be beaten up publicly.
