If talks with Taliban is possible, then why not for Altaf Hussain: Aamir Liaquat Hussain
Last week, Aamir Liaquat Hussain had congratulated Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder Altaf Hussain over his acquittal in a case for encouraging act of terrorism via inflammatory speeches.
Just after the verdict announced by a jury at the Kingston Crown Court in London, PTI MNA Aamir Liaquat Hussain had taken to Twitter and said that he wanted to present the heartiest congratulations to Altaf Hussain over his acquittal. He said that the London jury acquitted MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain [in the terrorism case].
Hussain had said in another tweet that Altaf Hussain’s acquittal is meaningful as the verdict was given by a jury on which no one could raise objections. He added that he had prayed for Altaf Hussain before the announcement of the verdict. He also congratulated the loyalists of Altaf Hussain.

He had demanded again to hold dialogues with Altaf Hussain and said that he is still standing still to the Muhajir cause. He added that Altaf Hussain has already tendered an apology to his [anti-Pakistan] slogan which he had delivered on August 22.
While responding to a tweet, Aamir Liaquat Hussain had said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has never considered anyone a terrorist like a true Pakistani as he always supported talks whether it is PTM (Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement) or TTP (Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan) or disgruntled Baloch.
It is pertinent to mention here that Altaf Hussain was acquitted in a terrorism case at the Kingston Crown Court after a majority of the jury (10 out of 12) declared that they did not find Altaf Hussain involved in the violation of the UK’s anti-terrorism laws on August 22, 2016, in two speeches to his followers in Karachi.
