On the other hand, in order to save the federal government after Punjab and to remove the effects of PTI’s success in the by-election of Punjab, the federal government accepted the resignation of 11 lawmakers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the National Assembly.

Journalist circles said that the Pakistan Democratic Alliance (PDM) parties have accepted the resignations of those PTI MNAs whose seats are more likely to win in the by-election.

After losing hands with the Punjab government, the government alliance and the PDM parties joined hands to block the way of the PTI. Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif participated through video link.

The meeting once again expressed determination to hold the general elections on time and complete the term of the current government. It was also agreed in the meeting that a public campaign will be conducted against the decision of the Supreme Court (SC).

Talking to the media after the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that some resolutions have been passed in today’s meeting, a presidential reference will be filed in the Supreme Court for the interpretation of Article 63A through the full court and the chaos caused by the recent decision of the Supreme Court. And a political crisis has arisen.

He said that the Election Commission has kept a blanket of silence on them, they demand that the decision of the foreign funding case be pronounced immediately, turning a blind eye to this case is against national security, the institutions are clearly empowered in the constitution. were assigned.

PDM head Maulana Fazlur Rahman said that no institution can interfere in another institution, the departments that are directly related to the economy, we will take a briefing on their performance on Tuesday.

PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz said that the demand for a full court was rejected because this kind of decision was based on injustice.

He said that both the mistake and its correction are in favour of Imran Khan, if the mistake was to be corrected, then they would have corrected the Panama case, ‘Ladla [beloved one]’ should have been awarded, that’s why the full court was not made.

Meanwhile, Speaker of National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf accepted the resignations of 11 members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Assembly, including Shireen Mazari, Farrukh Habib and Ali Muhammad Khan.

According to the spokesperson of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Secretariat has also issued a formal notification of acceptance of resignations and sent it to the Election Commission.

Ali Muhammad Khan, Fazal Muhammad Khan, Shaukat Ali, Fakhar Zaman Khan, Farrukh Habib, Ejaz Ahmad Shah, Jameel Ahmed Khan, Muhammad Akram Cheema, Abdul Shakoor have accepted the resignations of PTI members of the National Assembly. Shad, Dr Meher Ansah Shireen Mazari and Shandana Gulzar Khan are included.

The NA speaker accepted the resignations by exercising the delegated powers under Clause (1) of Article 64 of the Constitution of Pakistan.

Regarding the acceptance of the resignation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry, it was said that Qasim Suri had already accepted the resignation as Speaker and sent it to the Election Commission.

He said that there is no legal basis for accepting 11 resignations on behalf of the Speaker. It is an illusion that you will hold by-elections in these constituencies. The country is heading towards general elections and the current rulers cannot stop the elections.

Journalist circles say that the PDM parties have accepted the resignations of certain members of the assembly whose seats are more likely to win in the by-election.

Faizullah Khan, a journalist from Karachi, says that the resignations of those constituencies where PPP and Muttahida have good voters were accepted from Karachi.
