BAP President and former Balochistan chief minister Jam Kamal Khan has alleged that BAP is not a genuine party and it is just a creation.

QUETTA: In a surprise statement, Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) President and former Balochistan chief minister Jam Kamal Khan has alleged that BAP is not a genuine party and it is just a creation.

In a series of Twitter messages, he wrote that he was not involved in committing the sin of bringing Abdul Quddus Bizenjo.

He also shared the photos of Balochistan CM Abdul Quddus Bizenjo’s meeting with Balochistan National Party Mengal (BNP-M) chief Akhtar Mengal in the crucial political phase of the no-confidence motion ahead.

Jam Kamal Khan hailed a question of whether the proximities do not come to the category of sins.

In another tweet, he wrote that they are not involved in the sin to bring Abdul Quddus Bizenjo but some of the MPAs.

Two days ago, Jam Kamal Khan had announced that BAP will decide independently on the issue of no-confidence move.

It was learnt through the media reports, political contacts have been started to de-seat incumbent chief minister Balochistan as Abdul Quddus Bizenjo is visiting Islamabad where he will meet Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani and BAP MNAs ahead of the no-trust move.

Zahoor Buledi who was a key player in removing previous chief minister Jam Kamal has met the latter along with estranged PTI leader Yar Muhammad Rind, according to ARY News. Zahoor Buledi before his meeting with Jam Kamal shared a message on Twitter claiming that some of the provincial ministers are involved in taking bribes against government tenders.

“I have pointed it out at the assembly floor and during the cabinet meeting,” he said and added that he would not let anybody harm public interests in the province.

In another development, Bilawal Afridi, member provincial assembly (MPA) of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), had announced breaking ranks with the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the province.

He released a video message blaming PTI has failed to fulfil its commitment to the National Finance Commission Award (NFC Award). Other promises made by the party leadership were also not fulfilled, he added.

“We will take decisions for the greater interests of our people and voters and there is no use of keeping this alliance anymore,” he said.

“We are not invited to the meetings on tribal districts in the province and funds are utilised on the likes and dislikes of two or three people in this province. Tribal MPAs are completely ignored by the ruling party,” he said.

BAP has four MPAs in the K-P Assembly including Afridi, Express Tribune reported.
