Three-member judicial commission headed by Justice Qazi Faiz of the Supreme Court has started its proceedings related to audio leaks.
Remaining two members of commission formed by federal government include Chief Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan of Balochistan High Court and Chief Justice Amir Farooq of Islamabad High Court.

Regarding today’s proceedings, the Judicial Commission has started writing its order.
Attorney General Usman Mansoor Awan said in a statement that the federal government has formed the said judicial commission under the Act of 2017. The commission will investigate the facts surrounding the audio leaks.
The Judicial Commission has made it mandatory to provide the transcript of all the audio to the government. The transcript must be word-for-word accurate. If there is any kind of mistake, action will be taken against the concerned officer.
The commission has mandated the federal government to provide all the details as soon as possible so that the commission can start its proceedings.
During the proceedings, Justice Qazi Faiz Isa asked whether the proceedings would be made public, whether the federal government would have any objection, to which the Attorney General said that the Judicial Commission should do what it wants to do, the Commission is independent in its affairs.
It was decided in this dialogue that all proceedings of the Judicial Commission will be kept open.
The commission also decided that since some of the characters in the audio leaks are very old, the proceedings will be conducted in the Islamabad High Court for their convenience, but may be moved to Lahore if required.
The Judicial Commission has asked the federal government to provide all the materials (details) to the commission by Wednesday.
The Judicial Commission has mandated the government to publish in newspapers that if anyone has any evidence or material in this regard, they can contact the Commission. The content provider will also have to provide their details. No joint application will be entertained.
It should be noted that on Saturday, the federal government formed a three-member judicial commission to investigate the audio leaks of Supreme Court judges and former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar, headed by Justice Faiz Isa.
