Can Imran Khan Rescue Jam Kamal Amid Political Mess?

Beleaguered Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal met with Prime Minister Imran Khan yesterday which has proven to be a confidence booster as he is pretty sure the no-confidence motion against him will fail.

Jam Kamal is so confident that he said the assembly session will be called in three to four days.

Apparently, Prime Minister Imran Khan has assured Jam Kamal that PTI members will vote in his favor or he will settle the matter backdoor.

The political crisis in Balochistan deepened after 14 members of the government coalition including Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) members submitted a no-confidence motion against the chief minister.

This was the second no-trust motion against Jam Kamal in a span of two months.

Earlier, 16 opposition members had filed a no-trust motion in September which was sent rejected by the Governor House on technical grounds.

The number game in the Balochistan assembly has become interesting and the best option appears that Imran Khan intervenes and pacifies the disgruntled members of BAP and PTI.

Jam Kamal requires the support of 33 members in the 65-member house to stay on the seat.
