The children of Station House Officer (SHO) Imran Abbas, who was martyred in an attack in Rawalpindi, received exceptional protocol on their first day of school.
Rawalpindi police inspector was martyred on March 7 in a targeted attack by two gunmen on a motorcycle.

As a sign of reverence for martyrs’ services, Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) Muhammad Ahsan Younis along with Operations SSP Rai Mazhar Iqbal accompanied his children on their first day to school.

The children’s father Inspector Imran Abbas and grandfather Sub-Inspector (SI) Mian Muhammad Abbas both sacrificed their lives for the country and the nation.
In a meeting with the principal, CPO Muhammad Ahsan Younis instructed to assure quality education for the children of the martyred inspector.
Inspector Imran Abbas joined Rawalpindi Police in 1998 as an ASI. According to police records, he was awarded a total of 92 prizes for his bravery and courage.
