Coach number 10 of Millat Express had a malfunction and it wasn’t fit for traveling which the passengers had pointed out at Karachi Cantt Station, a survivor of the deadly accident told News360.

However, the staff persisted for the journey and fixed impairment with a clip as a stopgap measure. He revealed that the train also got late in leaving the station in Karachi for the same reason.
Near Rohri, the train felt a jerk and the coach came off the track within seconds, the survivor disclosed.
It overturned and fell onto the other track where it had a horrific collision with the rail coming from the opposite direction, he told.
Farhan Iqbal told two coaches were completely destroyed in front of his eyes.
