Converters of Black-Paper-to-Cash Booked in Karachi

A three-member gang has been busted in Karachi that used to blow smoke in the eyes of naive women by conning them that black paper would convert into cash by using a specific chemical.
A female resident of Lines Area of Karachi approached the Brigade police to inform that three suspects including Bushra and her two accomplices Azhar and Naeem swindled her.

The police booked the suspects and learned that they used chemistry to loot women in Karachi by persuading them through demonstration that black paper would turn into cash.
The suspects displayed their art by showing currency notes covered in some black-colored substance. The chemical peeled off the dark layer over the currency note and a real one came out.
The suspects swindled dozens of women as they received hefty amounts from them against the chemical and bundle of black paper.
The police also recovered bundles of paper and bottles of peel-off chemical from the suspects’ possession.
The three-member gang also confessed to committing such fraudulent activities in rural areas of Punjab province as well. They also admitted getting arrested by Khanewal police.
The Brigade police officials said that the video of the ‘magic’ would be presented in the court as evidence and they would ensure that the fraudsters get severe punishment.
