Distribution of Faith Certificates Should be Stopped, Mohsin Ranjha
PML-N wants to introduce changes in the resolution moved by the government in the National Assembly regarding expulsion of the French ambassador
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha said that the issue of sanctity of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and finality of prophethood was beyond politics and urged that distribution of faith certificates should be stopped.
In an exclusive interview with News360, he said PML-N wants to introduce some changes in the resolution moved by the government in the National Assembly (NA) regarding the expulsion of the French ambassador.
Mohsin Ranjha emphasized it is important to determine between the right and wrong and nobody should be allowed to issue faith certificates.

“We want all such points to be part of the resolution so that no one can exert undue pressure on the state”, he added.
MNA said it was also the state’s responsibility to prevent infliction of damage or harm to the beliefs of Muslims.
However, explicit orders in this regard must be issued.
The lawmaker told PML-N wanted to bring some changes in the government’s resolution.
He added the issue of Namoos-i-Risalat and the finality of prophethood were very important.
They should be handled in a way that no political party politicizes the issue in the future, he suggested.
Ranjha said that the government and opposition should move a joint resolution on the matter which would help in the adaptation of a better strategy in the future.
PML-N leader was unaware of the conditions of the agreement between the government and outlawed Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) neither who represented both parties.
