Education system in danger again after rise in COVID cases
Government starts mulling over plans to award grace numbers to the students in case of any disruption in the academic session due to a rise in COVID-19 cases
All the education boards across Punjab province including the provincial capital Lahore have decided to announce the matriculation results on August 31. The final date of the results will be decided in consultation with Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).
According to the details, the education boards across the province have started considering releasing the matriculation result on August 31.
This year, 270,000 candidates participated in the matriculation examination. This year children will not get positions, candidates will be given grades instead of marks. By this decision of the boards, no student will fail in the examination.
The result of the candidates will not be kept on the letter. Results of all children will be released. Students will be able to know the results even while sitting at home.
According to board sources, the final date of results will be announced in consultation with IBCC.
