The celebrants should maintain proper social distance while visiting relatives or friends, refraining from handshakes and hugs

Amid the surging Delta variant in Pakistan, the country is going to witness an unusual Eid-ul-Azha this year with due responsibilities that are required to put the national effort to curb spread of the pandemic virus.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has also issued warnings in this regard and National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) time and again urged the citizens to follow SOPs and take the jabs.
Primarily, this Eid-ul-Azha, the citizens should act responsibly and instead of calling butchers at home, it is the need of the hour to take the sacrificial animals to the slaughterhouses or designated sites.

Most importantly, the citizens should avoid social gatherings and Eid parties. The hosts and guests should wear masks and the use of sanitizers should be made a must even if they are meeting with friends and relatives.
