A Peshawar man namely Johar Ali, 55, is still using a horse in the modern era for daily commute, even to bring goods from the market or attend wedding ceremonies and funerals.
The elderly man, Johar Ali is a resident of Regi, a suburban area of Peshawar city, who still uses a horse for riding in modern times. Johar Ali goes on his own horse, whether it is to do housework or bring goods from the market, or attend weddings and funerals.
Johar Babaji has been riding horses for the past 30 years, unaware of the rising prices of petrol and the rush of vehicles every other day. According to Ali, horse riding is a very cheap and tough ride at once.
Johar Ali is a resident of Peshawar Regi and uses a horse for riding in today’s modern era where new modes of transport have come forward. He thinks that the secret to his health is horse riding. According to him, in the beginning, he bought a horse as a hobby, but nowadays, in the era of inflation, he uses it as a ride.
According to Johar Ali, he had a passion for horse riding for a long time. According to him horse riding is a holy ride.
Johar Ali says that horse riding is training and he wants the youth of today to also ride horses. He said that our elders used to travel far and wide on horses, but today’s youth go on bikes and cars when they go to nearby shops.
