Ex-Teacher Notifies Amateur Attitude of ‘The Avicenna School’
Sadaf said that the salary was transferred in two installments, the first half came by 10th to 12th of the month and the remaining by 20th

Society termed teachers as second parents and schools as the second home for a child, however, the situation is contradictory in the case of Sadaf Uzair, who is an ex-educator of The Avicenna School Tipu Sultan Campus in Karachi.
Taking to her social media handle, Sadaf wrote a heartfelt note about her experience as she resigned from the title after working for almost four years.
During her service, the young educator was declared as one of the best teachers by the school principal.
Serving her notice period from Feb 15 to March 15, Sadaf left Avicenna a month back.

Upon resigning, she was asked by the principal to complete the entire syllabus since it would be difficult for the new teacher to cope up with the system immediately.

She said, “The principal suggested me to make reinforcement worksheets as well as the examination papers”.
The ex-teacher explained that she checked and stamped every single copy, listed down the names of students who had not completed their work, and even marked their papers for final term papers.
In contrast to all the duly done commands, Sadaf added that the administration still owed Rs 4,500 to her.
The administration tried to linger on as long as it could by making twisted statements and with a display of unprofessional attitude. This made Sadaf approached the school owner, Mr Adil Butt, over the telephone and she requested him to look into the matter.

The owner assured that the salary of the ex-teacher would be duly transferred but it did not happen too.
Sadaf expressed her disappointment and said, “It is extremely disappointing to see such big institutions where parents are paying hefty fees every month and when it comes to paying their teachers they step down to such low levels”.
