Fake Media Men Busted in Karachi For Extortion
The suspects had made bogus cards of a web channel which they utilized to threaten pan vendors and collect hush money from them
Korangi Industrial police in Karachi busted four fake media persons after finding out that they were involved in extortion from different pan kiosks in the Korangi and Landhi areas.
After deliberation, the worried kiosks’ owners decided to report illegal activity to the jurisdiction police and lodge a complaint.
Pan kiosks’ owners caught the fake media men when they came to collect extortion and handed them over to the police.

The suspects had made bogus cards of a web channel which they utilized to threaten vendors and collect hush money from them.
The fake media men have been identified as Rehman, Sarafaraz Jamali, Sajid, and Waqas and they are in the custody of Korangi Industrial Area police.
The fake media cards of the offenders have been seized by the police too.
The investigation of the case has been launched after registration of the first information report (FIR).
