Fawad Chaudhry Denounces Speedy Justice by Taliban
The minister repeated the maxim that justice delayed is justice denied but added that justice rushed is justice crushed
Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry took strong exception against the alleged display of speedy justice by the Taliban.
The minister replied to a tweet by an ex-ambassador who cursed Pakistan’s justice system and hailed the Afghan Taliban who had hung two people within three days of trial.
The victims were allegedly charged with kidnapping and molesting a child in Lashkar Gah city of Afghanistan.

However, the information minister didn’t appreciate it and slammed the move by the Taliban.
He expressed that the verdicts aren’t reached in three days but only killings happen so rapidly.

“In the justice system, punishing an innocent is worse than punishing the guilty”, Fawad wrote in his tweet.
