The clip went viral on the internet instantly and social media users condemned the demeanor of the special assistant.

They said that through her speech and actions, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan doesn’t really represent women but instead bringing humiliation for them.

The special assistant later issued a video and alleged that the PPP leader used profane language for her late father and herself due to which she had to resort to an extreme measure.

This is not the first time the special assistant to the chief minister has caught all attention for the diatribe.

In March this year, the feud between Firdous Ashiq Awan and Syed Agha Rafiullah on Geo TV’s program Aapas Ki Baat left the viewers disappointed who were expecting a healthy debate between the politicians.

Following the fatal Gothki train crash in which over 50 people lost their lives, the special assistant startled everyone when she said that ‘thankfully’ it was the first train accident of the year.

Last year, Dr Ashiq Awan demeaned a woman during a market visit too.

Upon inquiring, the woman told Dr Awan that she had 8 kids. In response, the government official laughed and asked, “What does your husband do besides this?”.

Years earlier, Dr Firdous vilified PML-Q leader Kashmala Tariq in a live show and used crude language against her despite being a woman herself.
