The football stadium of Sukkur Degree College has deluged by sewerage water with no response from the government after days. The officials of the education and sports departments have shown persistent negligence on the issue.
The football stadium was built in Sukkur’s Degree College against a hefty amount for provision of sports facilities for the students and locals.
However, the field has been inundated by sewerage water after the gutters have spewed due to choked lines while the football field has become unusable due to the accumulation of wastewater.

The locals said that the sewerage water is emitting a putrid smell and it could disease outbreak. The sports activities have also come to halt as a vast portion of the ground remains submerged.
The locals said that they lodged several complaints with the authorities but futile.
They have demanded the provincial sports minister, education department, and other high officials to take notice of the matter and resolve it at the earliest.
