Foreign woman allegedly raped in Punjab’s Fort Munro

A 21-year-old US woman was allegedly raped in South Punjab’s hilly station Fort Munro located in the Dera Ghazi Khan district.

Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Sharif has taken notice of the alleged rape of a foreign tourist in Fort Munro.

Sources said that the American girl was raped by the private guards in Fort Munro. It was learnt that the US national Urbella had reached Lahore from Karachi on July 15. The foreign girl said that the accused kept her in Fort Munro for two days and sexually assaulted her. The police started further investigation.

On the other hand, CM Hamza Sharif took notice of the incident of rape of a foreign female tourist in Fort Munro. He said that the accused will be punished in accordance with the law. Justice will be provided to the victim woman at any cost, he added.
