Free-Bird & Gimmick-Lover Faisal Vawda Gets Senate Ticket

There is a long list of actions by the incumbent minister that certainly doesn't suit the office he holds

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has finalized the name of free-bird Faisal Vawda for Senate ticket.

Despite being a member of the National Assembly and holding the office of federal minister for water resources, Faisal Vawda is going to be in the Senate, yet another time at a place where he shouldn’t necessarily be.

Better called a non-conformist, Faisal Vawda will be representing the party in the upper house.

The people know his name more for his bizarre actions than his work.

Faisal Vawda allegedly did not mention that he was a dual-national at the time of filing nomination papers to contest general elections 2018 and the case of which is still under adjudication in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

There is a long list of actions by the incumbent minister that certainly doesn’t suit the office he holds.

Not shy of gimmicks, he brought a boot in a live television show.

In November 2018, Faisal Vawda reached the Chinese Consulate with his licensed gun when he was informed about the attack on the site.
