Ringleader of a Gang Paid Ransom to Free Abducted Woman

In a rare instance that took place in the katcha area of Kashmore, a district of the province of Sindh, ringleader of a dacoits gang helped relatives of an abductive woman to get her free from the clutches of another gang and paid Rs 50,000 ransom.

Jhangal Teghani is the ringleader of one of the gangs operating in the area of Kashmore where a woman was taken away by the kidnappers for ransom.

Despite multiple operations carried out by the local police in search for the victim, the family members remained unfortunate.

The ringleader, already required by the police for multiple cases, accidentally came to know about the woman.

“Teghani people (gangsters) have abducted a woman, whom we Teghanis have high respect for”, said the ringleader.

He strongly condemned the fellow gang’s act and was of the view that the other group was defaming Teghanis.

“Our women are daughters of Sindh”, maintained Jhangal and paid the ransom money to other gang and safely recovered the woman.

In Katcha area of Kasmore, a number of gangs including Munir Misrani, Jhangal Teghani, and Jagirani have become a challenge for Sindh police.

Each of these gangs comprises 20-25 dacoits but they still pose a major challenge to police.

Several operations have been going on for several days in Kashmore and Kacha under the leadership of Kashmore Kandhkot Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Amjad Sheikh but no significant success has been achieved.

However, Jhangal, after recovering the woman, returned to his hideout and promised that he would make sure that no other woman was kidnapped by any gang in the Katcha area.
