Another anchorperson of Geo News has evidently toed the line with Hamid Mir and PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif.
Geo Pakistan host Abdullah Sultan replied to the tweet of Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry which he did after receiving notice from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
“Respect for the Election Commission has its place but if you don’t like to talk about the political role of personalities, keep your conduct non-political”, the minister said in his tweet.

The reality of ECP exists in its place but the personalities are not infallible while the criticism is on the conduct of the individuals, not institutions, he added in his post.

In reply, the morning show host reiterated that the personalities are not infallible while the criticism is on the conduct of the individuals, not institutions. “This is the whole thing”, he emphasized.
He said that the critics are declared traitors when they rebuke the political conduct of personalities while it is termed as a conspiracy to malign institutions.
It seems like Abdullah Sultan has toed the line with senior anchorperson Hamid Mir and PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif who got banned from television after similar sort of statements against the Army.
Without naming anybody, the morning show host has also hinted at the same institution in his reply.
