WEB DESK: German Ambassador to Pakistan, Bernhard Schlagheck, eulogized the famous Multani Sohan Halwa in his recent post on Twitter.
On his recent trip to Multan, located on the bank of Chenab River in Punjab, the German Ambassador was all in love with the traditional desert “Sohan Halwa”.
He was full of praises and tweeted “tried the famous Multani Sohan Halwa, enjoyed with chai, so good. Especially with the nuts and dry fruits on top”.
Sohan Halwa has apparently solved a long-standing problem for the diplomat.
“My winter snack in Pakistan is sorted!” he added.

Schlagheck can be seen enjoying the desert with chef Hussain along with tea in the video.
Earlier, the German ambassador praised the hospitality of Pakistani people and the landscapes in a post on social media.
On World Tourism Day 2020, he tweeted about the stunning landscapes, impressive architecture, and diverse culture of Pakistan.

He asked the people to recommend destinations for his next trip to which a number of people replied with different recommendations.

A few months back, the ambassador visited city of Peshawar in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and enjoyed the famous traditional Chapli Kababs (fried meat).
