German envoy Alfred Grannas visits Peshawar, enjoys chapli kebab

German Ambassador to Pakistan Alfred Grannas Peshawar has paid a visit to Peshawar and praised the taste of Chapli Kabab which he ate on the occasion.

Alfred Grannas wrote on Twitter, “From the pan to my table in seconds! I enjoyed one of the most fresh & flavorful kebabs of my life right here in #Peshawar. Only mildly spiced, yet so rich in taste. But can someone tell me why they’re called “Chapli” Kebab?”

The German ambassador said on the occasion that Peshawar is a beautiful city and it was great to know about its history.

German Ambassador Grannas also visited the historic Khyber Gate on the occasion of his visit to Peshawar.
