Govt boycotts SC proceedings on deputy speaker ruling case

Analysts said that PTI did not boycott this bench that dismissed the PTI government in the Centre.

ISLAMABAD: The coalition government has announced a boycott of the court proceedings against the Supreme Court for not forming a full court bench on the ruling of the deputy speaker on the election of the Punjab chief minister and now they are left with very few options.

The leaders of the ruling coalition said in their joint statement that the Supreme Court was asked to constitute a full court bench in the Deputy Speaker Rowling case.

The leaders of the ruling alliance said that we had requested a full bench of the Supreme Court instead of a three-member bench, but our request was rejected.

The government and PDM parties have boycotted the current three-member bench rejecting the Supreme Court’s ruling against the ruling of the Deputy Speaker.

Analysts say that it was this bench that gave the decision against the ruling of Qasim Suri, its detailed decision came nine days ago today, on this decision, government ministers and allies praised the same bench of the Supreme Court. He tied it and called it the victory of justice.

Analysts say that the coalition government should think that as a result of the decision of the Supreme Court, the government was dismissed from the center of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, that decision was the best and this decision became so bad that the government boycotted the bench itself. Which includes the Chief Justice, while the then PTI government did not boycott the bench but it must have expressed its concerns.

Analysts further say that when the Deputy Speaker started the hearing of the case against the ruling of the Punjab Assembly, it was the same bench that dismissed the PTI government from the Center but the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf did not boycott this bench. , although the same bench had declared Qasim Suri’s ruling unconstitutional and nullified the President’s decision to dissolve the government.

They say that the government alliance has also eliminated its legal option by boycotting, now with your boycott you have gone into a closed lane.

On the other hand, while reacting to the press conference of PDM leaders, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that every sentence of the press conference of PDM leaders is contempt of court. After the court proceedings, it was said that they are boycotting the court proceedings.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the executive has attacked the judiciary, when the judges do not give a decision according to their wishes, they turn against them, those who reject the judicial decision will be rejected by the whole nation.
