Govt Restores Tik Tok Service in Pakistan

KARACHI: About ten days ago, when the ٖFederal government decided to stop Tik Tok in Pakistan, there was a wave of frustration among many fans, but most of them were convinced that the government would soon reconsider its decision and Tik Tok service will be restored.
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) had on October 9 banned TikTok for failing to filter out “immoral and indecent” content.
Earlier, before the ban on service, the telecom regulator had said that the decision was taken after the authority received a number of “complaints from different segments of the society against immoral and indecent content on the video sharing application.
