Government and institutions moved to get Maryam Nawaz’s dress designer and former army chief Asif Nawaz Janjua’s granddaughter Khadija Shah out of jail.
Pro-government journalists issued a statement condemning events of May 9 before Khadija Shah’s arrest. In which she rudely reads a pre-written statement on events of May 9, Badalankhushta, and puts mobile army on table in a throwing manner.

According to sources of News 360, Khadija Shah’s pre-arrest recorded statement has been released with connivance of Maryam Nawaz and institutions to pave the way for her release.
According to sources, Khadija Shah is Maryam Nawaz’s personal designer, Maryam Nawaz’s dress for Junaid Safdar’s mother’s party was made by her brand ‘Elan’. Khadija Shah’s brand Elan is one of few brands in Pakistan that has a franchise. They are also present in Dubai and London. Therefore, their arrest in a political case is also causing a stir in Pakistan.

According to sources, Khadija is granddaughter of former army chief Asif Nawaz Janjua, due to which government and organization are under special pressure from retired officers and military families to release her.
For same reasons, news of Khadija’s ill health was broadcast during day on Sunday and her pre-recorded statement was released at night to justify the pardon and her release from jail.

On other hand, pro-government journalists Talat Hussain and others shared Khadija Shah’s video as if it was a fresh video, but the majority demanded that Khadija Shah, who belongs to the elite class, could be pardoned for apologizing in this way. If so, the ordinary workers of Tehreek-e-Insaf should also be released.
