The weather in most parts of Pakistan has turned pleasant with moderate to heavy rains continuing for the past two days but a little negligence on Eid-ul-Azha could lead to outbreaks of diseases.
Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) has forecasted heavy rains in different parts of the country including Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Sargodha, Murree, etc on Wednesday, the first day of Eid.
The health experts emphasized that people should strictly follow the government’s guidelines while discarding offal and entrails after slaughtering animals, particularly under current weather conditions.

They said that the metrological department has predicted torrential rains in different cities across the country on the first day of Eid-ul-Azha.
The health experts suggested that people should not dispose of waste of sacrificial animals on roads and streets.
They advised people to sprinkle limestone over spilled blood on the sacrificial sites to prevent health risks and also prevent water from accumulating in open spots.
They added that negligence could lead to a hazardous situation and cause outbreaks of diseases.
