Here’s How a 60-Year-Old Bodybuilder Won The Title
Ustaad Abdul Waheed exercises hard for an hour and a half every day and then he trains young people in the club
A 60-year-old bodybuilder named Ustaad Abdul Waheed is a Manawan resident in Lahore and earned the title of Mr Pakistan Masters through constant dedication and hard work.
Ustaad Waheed started a health club in 1994 and he trains young people for hours even at this age.
Although Ustaad wasn’t a bodybuilder in his youth, he started regular bodybuilding at the age of 40 and for the last 10 years, he is competing in different contests.

Talking to News 360, the weight-lifter said, “My father was a wrestler, and seeing him making muscles motivated me to become a bodybuilder himself”.
Answering a query about diet, he told, “Diet plays a very important role in bodybuilding and workout”.
Waheed recommended fruits, vegetables, and dry fruits in diet for rapid muscle building instead of steroids and supplements and to naturally strengthen and energize the muscles for a longer time.

In response to a question, Waheed said winning the title of Mr Lahore, then Punjab, and now Mr Pakistan was thus a difficult journey yet he didn’t give up his passion.
Ustaad Ji added, “It took me 20 years to reach this place. I faced many difficulties in the journey but I did not give up and continued my mission with diligence and dedication”.
Explaining his routine, the 60-year-old bodybuilder said that he exercises hard for an hour and a half every day and then trains in a club dedicatedly.
He said, “I am better than those over 40 years of age. I also challenge young people to lift as much weight as possible”.
The 60-year-old champion thanked his friends and family for their endless support and appreciation in keeping him motivated throughout the journey.
Referring to his club, he said, “I did not create a club for my fitness but the youth. The only goal is to bring the youngsters to sports, not to get addicted to drugs, even if no one has the money”.
Mr Pakistan Ustad Abdul Waheed wants to participate in the next Asian level competition on behalf of Pakistan. Therefore, he requested the government to assist him so he could represent the country at the international level as well.
