A video of a hospital in Abbottabad is making rounds on the internet as the management bizarrely uses sandbags to stop the inflow of rainwater into the premises.

The monsoon spell in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is underway and the storm drains often overflow due to the poor drainage system.

To counter such situation, scenes were witnessed in the viral video where sandbags could be seen outside the gate of Ayub Medical Complex (AMC) in Abbottabad.

The measure was taken as a makeshift arrangement to stop rainwater from flowing into the healthcare facility after overflowing of storm drains.

The social media users have poured scorn on the fugal innovation and said that the district administration should instead focus on improving the drainage system.
