A trove of leaked documents on offshore companies dubbed Pandora Papers has disclosed the hidden wealth of 700 influential people in Pakistan who have them.
Along with several others, 700 people in Pakistan are named in the Pandora Papers published by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) have a major share in $7 trillion stolen money.
Special Assistant to Chief Minister of Punjab on Information & Special Initiatives Hassan Khawar took to his Twitter account.

He mentioned that $7 trillion is three times the size of the UK’s GDP.

All this wealth is stolen money by public officials, politicians, and other professionals that have been parked in offshore accounts.
The social media users have called for the recovery of money from 700 Pakistanis on the list as they believe it can change things for the country.

The colossal task now is to tighten the noose around them and recover the ill-gotten wealth. if recovered such a staggering amount of money successfully, it might prove a game changer for the ruling party in the upcoming general election.
