Bushra Bibi said she is the reason for the achievements of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The first lady Bushra Bibi made her first public appearance on Monday in Lahore after Imran Khan became the prime minister.
During her visit to a shelter home, when asked by a reporter asked her the reason behind the success of Imran Khan, the first lady bluntly replied, “Behind every successful man, there is his wife”.
“Is it like this?”, she asked the reporter who probably nodded in assertion. At this, Bushra Imran responded, “then?”
The first lady examined the facilities at the shelter home near the shrine of Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh. She was accompanied by her friend Farhat Shehzadi.
Citing the reason for sudden visit, Bushra Bibi told she had heard some complaints about the shelter home but everything was fine now.
Further, the claim of being ‘lucky charm’ for the premier doesn’t ostensibly look wrong as Imran Khan’s nearly three-decade-long struggle came to an end in 2018 when he won the general elections soon after solemnizing marriage with Bushra Bibi.

Later after completing the tour of shelter home, she visited the Data Darbar shrine as well. The timing of the shrine’s visit has also stirred a debate on different social platforms.
It has come ahead of the Senate election on March 3.
Before this, the couple’s first visit together was at the shrine of Baba Farid Shakar Ganj in Pakpattan just before the general elections and Imran Khan came out victorious.
The controversial Sajda by Imran Khan during the visit had left his followers in a shock and he had to come up with an explanation.
