The harassment tragedy with a female TikToker in Lahore has intimidated Pakistani women and Imaan Zainab Mazari harked back to her miserable experience.
Imaan Mazari is the daughter of Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari and a lawyer by profession.
Lahore police have registered a case against 400 desperadoes who humiliated a female TikToker at Greater Iqbal Park on August 14.
The video of the deplorable incident went viral on the internet in which a mob could be seen groping and tossing the victim in the air, tearing her clothes in the hustle.

She recalled a similar event with her in one of the rallies of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Rawalpindi many years back.
The lawyer said the trauma of the incident still haunts her as it would the TikToker who was harassed at Minar-i-Pakistan.
Imaan claimed that a PTI leader yelled at her after she posted the harassment incident on Twitter and she was accused of defaming the political party.

The minister’s daughter said that the women in the country are always blamed if they are attacked and the mindset is endorsed by Prime Minister Imran Khan who has never told Pakistani men to behave like civilized humans but only given them excuses for violence.
