The alleged ATMs of Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan are pulling socks up to join Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).
In the latest development, PTI dissident leader Aleem Khan held a meeting with PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif in London which was continued for three hours.
Geo News reporter Murtaza Ali Shah claimed that Aleem Khan and Nawaz Sharif discussed the current political situation, Punjab politics and a no-confidence motion against PM Imran Khan in the London meeting.
Sources told News360 that Aleem Khan had told his experiences with the PTI before Nawaz Sharif during the last three years. It was learnt that the PTI leader is going to join PML-N along with his like-minded group of politicians.
On the other hand, PTI’s senior leader Jahangir Tareen is also likely to announce his association with PML-N in the coming days along with his group.
PM Imran Khan continues political advancements, to address gathering in Lower Dir
The PML-N top leaders including Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz had earlier called Aleem Khan and Jahangir Tareen as Imran Khan’s ATMs in their past statements.
Analysts said that the PML-N leaders kept tagging the politicians as Imran Khan’s ATMs but now they are holding meetings with Nawaz Sharif. They termed it a crucial moment in the national politics ahead of the no-confidence motion against PM Khan.
The political temperature has risen in the federal capital after the police operation in Parliament Lodges and PM Khan’s verbal attacks against the opposition leaders.
They suggested that PM Khan should adopt a new strategy against the no-confidence motion by avoiding launching verbal attacks against the opposition leaders as the use of foul language is denting his reputation as a prime minister.
