ABBOTTABAD/JHELUM: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has successfully shown its political muscles in Abbottabad and Jhelum in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab province, giving a clear message regarding his street power.
After being ousted from the prime minister’s office, Imran Khan has been successfully running a mass contact campaign ahead of the fresh elections.
In recent dates, Imran Khan addressed mammoth public meetings in Abbottabad and Jhelum that are considered strategically important for the military establishment.

Imran Khan is leading back-to-back public gatherings to activate its workers for the fresh elections besides gaining political strength for resistance against his political rivals.
Islamabad march
During the Lahore power show, Imran Khan had signalled to give a call for Islamabad’s long march for taking forward his political campaign against the coalition government to demand fresh elections and inquiry over the diplomatic cable.
During his address, the former premier asked the PTI workers to start preparations for Islamabad’s long march and wait for his call.

Imran Khan has asked the concerned authorities to organise fresh elections in the country at the earliest.
Regarding the inquiry on diplomatic cable, Khan rejected any commission formed by the coalition government led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and demanded the Supreme Court (SC) conduct an open hearing of the case.
The PTI chairman had said that Shehbaz Sharif was imposed as the prime minister of Pakistan who is facing Rs40 billion corruption along with his son, Hamza Shehbaz. He announced that he will continue fighting the corrupt people.
He had also rejected the inquiry commission announced by PM Shehbaz Sharif and demanded an open hearing in the Supreme Court (SC) on the threatening diplomatic cable.
