ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is successfully using all modern digital platforms alongside conventional ways like power shows to spread its narrative among the nationals.
Imran Khan has recently taken to a Podcast featured by Junaid Akram, Talha of Centrum Medium and Muzammil Hasan Zaidi which was broadcasted live on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. The former prime minister delivered his message to the nation and PTI’s narrative in the ongoing anti-government movement through over a 1.5-hour Podcast.
It is being said that the Podcast was watched by over a million netizens, whereas, over 100k tweets made it one of the top trends on Twitter.
Prior to his Podcast, Khan gave an interview to a private news channel’s actor-cum-anchorperson and a staunch supporter of PTI, Shaan Shahid. The PTI chairman has continued working on his plan to increase public support before the fresh elections with consistent power shows and addresses through digital platforms.
It came after his historical Twitter Space address which reportedly broke all previous records of the digital platforms.
Imran Khan added more than 901K followers in the past 30 days: report
The PTI had earlier unveiled the schedule of its non-stop nationwide protests and power shows in different parts of the country, primarily in Punjab province which is beginning today from Mianwali.
Imran Khan will address a power show in Mianwali today after building a narrative of fighting the present government led by PML-N and titled its public movement ‘No to slavery’ and ‘No to imported government’.

However, political parties other than PTI are using conventional styles of politics instead of diverting their focus on the digital platforms, hence, failing to attract millions of people who are virtually connecting with the national politics and building their opinions.
PML-N has also formally announced to begin its mass contact drive from Friday (today).
Imran Khan sets new record for Twitter Space audience
According to the plan, PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz will hold her first of the seven planned rallies in Attock district’s Fateh Jang city.
According to the PML’s schedule of rallies, Maryam Nawaz will address the masses in Attock on May 6, Bisham Shangla on May 7, Swabi on May 11, Gujrat on May 15, Sargodha on May 20, Okara on May 23 and Bahawalpur on May 28.

Another major party, PPP has not announced any concrete plan to begin the mass contact campaign despite sensing the organisation of fresh elections in the near future.
Unlike other political parties including the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and others using conventional political styles of power shows and protests, PTI is using modern virtual tools to spread its narrative alongside the rallies and public conventions.
Imran Khan says ‘will become more dangerous’ after ouster from office
It has seemingly shown that other political parties other than PTI are loosening their grip on the modern mediums and exposing their lack of capability to address a huge audience on the digital platforms to convey their messages and narratives.
In other words, the expertly use of modern digital platforms will definitely benefit the Imran Khan-led political party in the coming days when the country enters the phase of fresh elections.
Former PM Imran Khan has shown powerful resistance against alleged foreign conspiracy to oust his government with the support of the internal elements for adopting an independent foreign policy of Pakistan, whereas, his political party is also demanding the immediate organisation of fresh elections.
