Imran Khan to be kept in ‘Mirchi Ward’ of Balochistan’s Machh Jail: Rana Sanaullah

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would be kept in Mirchi Ward of Balochistan's Machh jail.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would be kept in Mirchi Ward of Balochistan’s Machh jail.

Last night, on the question of anchorperson Hamid Mir in the Geo News program Capital Talk, Interior Minister Rana Sana said that they would arrest Imran Khan and keep him in Mirchi Ward of Balochistan’s Machh jail.

Using a threatening tone, he said that the individual who keeps remembering me every time should keep this in his mind so that he will not be pardoned by him.

He claimed that if the cabinet had given no attention to my words during PTI’s long march in May. ‘We could have arrested him and if it had been done, then the evil would not rise in the country.

On the question regarding Mirchi Ward, the Federal Interior Minister said that I have a promise to Sardar Akhtar Mengal that he will be sent there whenever he is arrested. In response to another question, Rana Sanaullah said that only politicians are kept in this ward.

The interior minister said that Imran Khan’s fight is not with the army or the judiciary but with the entire nation. “He is fighting with the state and everything is being exposed now.”

Sanaullah said, “How can he say that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was not under his [Imran Khan’s] authority? The NAB chairman said that we will lay hands on government ministers, on the same day Tayyaba Gul’s video was leaked.”

“Where was Tayyaba Gul kept and who blackmailed Chairman NAB? When the chairman got compromised with NAB, he (Imran Khan) used to do what he said. Back then it said I had all the options, today it says I had no options. There was Rs12 billion suspicious transaction case against Farah Gogi. Was it over or not?”

Sanaullah said that false cases were made against the then opposition at the request of the former premier.

Analysts commented after Sanaullah’s interview that if the long march reaches Islamabad and Imran Khan is arrested, then it would create a dangerous law and order situation in the country as a large number of activists from across the country are attending the PTI long march.
