Imran Khan’s Critics Heaved Sigh of Relief Mocking Ailment
PML-N leader Hina Parvez Butt expressed disappointment on a dreadful Twitter trend against Imran Khan but blamed PTI as pioneer
Not long when it was announced that Imran Khan and first lady Bushra Imran had contracted coronavirus, a disdainful trend against the country’s prime minister popped up on the microblogging site Twitter that was led by his political opponents.
The political opponents of Imran Khan did not have mercy on him and his wife as they believed that the followers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were the ones who set a precedent of contemptuous trends on Twitter at the time when Nawaz Sharif’s wife, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, was on deathbed.
Prime Minister Imran Khan tested positive for coronavirus on March 20.
On one hand, Imran Khan’s well-wishers wished him a speedy recovery on the platform which trended under GeTWellSoonSkipper and other hashtags, the premier’s opponents ran trends that were not only disdainful but exhibited that political opponents were not ready to spare the prime minister even on contracting the virus which could lead to death.
