In Naya Pakistan, Lawmakers Climb Poles to Win Bets

In Purana Pakistan, the poverty-stricken people used to ascend poles and buildings to record protest

At least one prominent change in Imran Khan’s Naya Pakistan is that people are climbing poles to win bets and they are not common people who are doing this.

However, the tables have turned in Naya Pakistan as a former Member National Assembly (MNA) of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Hamid-ul-Haq climbed the pole of a signboard in Peshawar merely to win a bet of Rs 1,000.

As the visuals show, the ex-lawmaker wagered his friends to reach the apex of a polie and he effortlessly ascended it.

When he returned to the ground after completing the task, Haq’s friends said that they had offered Rs 5,000 to another man but he did it in just Rs 1,000.
