In Pakistan, the threatening third wave of coronavirus is proving to be fatal for children as two infants, reportedly two days and five months old, succumbed to coronavirus at Children’s Hospital Lahore.
“The two-day-old baby was also a heart patient”, said Professor Masood Sadiq from Children’s Hospital.
As per details shared by Masood, the five-month-old baby was suffering from Meningitis.
“I am requesting the masses to take special care of children amid the pandemic”, he added.
