“Iqrar ul Hassan” Pro-Anti Trends Top on Twitter
Prominent figures of Pakistan have also joined the trend #WeSupportIqrar after he was riled by public for comparing India and Pakistan
Pakistan’s famous anchorperson Iqrar ul Hassan has been trending on Twitter for some “ill” reasons. Iqrar updated his Twitter account with a comparison between the transport system of India and Pakistan and captioned it as “India VS Pakistan”.
Iqrar hinted in the Twitter post at the dilapidated transport system of Pakistan while complimenting the project of Jan Shatabdi Express in India.
His post left the people of Pakistan in distress and caused an uproar on social media.

Iqrar also complimented India for kicking off the coronavirus vaccine drive much earlier than Pakistan.

However, a number of his fans have initiated a trend to support him with “#We Support Iqrar” on Twitter.
Prominent figures like singer Ali Zafar and cricketer Shoaib Akhtar have also tweeted in support of him.
