Salman Masood shared Pink Floyd’s quote following Husain’s tweet.
“No one has a real friend
And it seems to you the thing to do would be to isolate the winner
And everything’s done under the sun
And you believe at heart, everyone’s a killer.”

سچے اور کھرے دوست کی پہچان کیلئے کیا حکومتی ٹیم کا حصہ بننا پڑتا ہے؟

Journalist Fahd Husain vanished from public appearance after becoming Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s special assistant. After becoming the premier’s press adviser, Fahd Husain was not even seen in major press conferences.
In May, the veteran journalist had been appointed as Special Assistant to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif with the status of the federal minister, however, his decision for accepting the government slot was criticised by some journalists.
Syed Fahd Husain had earlier given his opinion against the affiliation of a journalist with any political party or a government member.
In September, Husain had faced a failure to get the support of the journalist fraternity as the largest body of newspapers, the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE), boycotted PM Shehbaz Sharif’s meeting.
PM Shehbaz Sharif-led coalition government faced an embarrassing failure to gain the support of the journalist fraternity after its unpopular decisions in terms of the economic challenges and flood relief strategies.
After his tweets, analysts wondered has Fahd Husain changed his opinion for being part of PM Sharif’s cabinet which led him coming back to social media to restart his journalistic activities.
