Is Fawad Chaudhry Dittoing Mufti Popalzai?
Fawad has not stopped taking glory in his handiwork of Ruet app despite getting removed as the science and technology minister
It appears like Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry is still unable to overcome the charm of his accomplishments as a science minister and dittoing Mufti Popalzai who used to make announcements about Eid moons without waiting for governmental body tasked to do so.
Under Fawad’s leadership, the ministry of science and technology developed Ruet mobile application.
Its development certainly paved way to cease long-standing dispute over moons of Ramazan, Eid-ul-Fitr, and Eid-ul-Azha.
Another fruit of the mobile application was that the country started the holy month of Ramazan together after years.

But Fawad has not stopped taking glory in his accomplishment and despite getting removed as the science and technology minister to take charge as the information minister.
On May 9, he took to his Twitter account to announce that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated across Pakistan on May 14.
Perhaps there was a guilt that forced him to start his tweet with, “Although the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will make the final announcement..”

The critics are of the view that the information minister is acting like Mufti Popalzai since his Ruet app handiwork.
They opined that Fawad Chaudhry should stop feeling obligated to make announcements about moons and let the Ruet-e-Hilal committee do its job as it was mandated.
