Veteran journalist Hasan Nisar is being given space by Geo TV where he spews out misogynist comments without fear of being taken down by the channel as he generates ratings.
The channel which claims to bind employees by rules and principles of neutrality, fairness, and impartiality has not taken any action against Hasan Nisar which leaves an impression that he has been given the seat to drive the audience to the channel.
In Geo’s show Report Card on December 28, he got engaged in a brawl with another panelist Reema Omer.

The host did not stop the senior journalist probably because she was directed from backdoors to let Hasan Nisar speak as his act would generate ratings for the channel.
Later, he released a video on his Youtube channel having 400k subscribers.

However, so far, despite the criticism against the channel, Geo has not resorted to action against Hasan Nisar.
A number of people have called for the replacement of Hasan Nisar from all TV shows he appears on the channel but all probably have been lent a deaf ear.

It is visible that for retaining the veteran journalist and advancing in the race of ratings, the channel which had been unreserved about its principles has kept all aside.
