Did World Bank Appreciate BISP Instead of Ehsaas Program?
Sania Nishtar asserted that all three systems used to deliver Ehsaas Program were developed in 2019
World Bank in its recent report ‘global social protection responses to covid-19’ listed the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program in the top four global social protection interventions.
While commending Sania Nishtar, Special Assistant of the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection, the premier posted a tweet on his Twitter handle to which Bilawal Bhutto Zardari replied sarcastically.

Similarly, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari replied to Sania Nishtar who shared the glad tidings on social media.
Bakhtawar maintained that World Bank acknowledged the brilliance of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) instead of the Ehsaas Program.
While replying to Bakhtawar, Sania asserted that all three systems used to deliver the program were developed in 2019.
