JI stages unique protest in Lahore

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader Ahmad Salman Baloch said that the people have seen the truth of the narratives of “Vote Ko Izzat Do” and “Naya Pakistan” as both gave nothing but deception.

The new year 2023 has started but the problems of the poor people are still the same. Jamaat-e-Islami recorded a unique protest in Lahore against the federal and provincial governments.

According to the details, the JI candidate in the PP-168, Ahmad Salman Baloch led the protest on public issues, the protestors cooked food under the open sky with wood stoves and recorded their protest.

Speaking to News360, JI leader Ahmed Salman Baloch said on the occasion that in one year the government has made petrol more expensive by more than Rs100, whereas, the dollar price made more expensive by the tyrant rulers by Rs50.

By the end of the year 2022, flour has been taken away from the people, at that time there is no flour, no electricity and no gas, he added.

Baloch slammed the rulers for doing nothing for the public welfare after raising different slogans.

The JI leader said the election commission takes monthly salaries for conducting elections in the country and at the time of elections they say we cannot conduct elections. The oppressed nation will have to pledge today to get rid of the rulers who are using them, he added.

Baloch further said that all political parties are in power and only JI is in the opposition. He added the real change will come only in a democratic way and prayed that the true representatives of the nationals come to power and solve their problems.
