KP Police is Providing Training to Martyr, Retiree
The 13th Advance Course for inspectors is mandatory for promotion to the rank of DSP
In a major blunder, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police included a martyr and retiree as candidates in the training course mandatory for promotion to the rank of DSP.
As per the documents available with News360, the KP Directorate of Training Central Police Office issued a list of candidates eligible for 13th Advance Course for inspectors.
The training course is mandatory for inspectors to get promotion to the rank of DSP.
However, the KP Directorate of Training Central Police Office included the names of policemen not part of the force now and lost life in the line of duty.
Candidate no 23, Muhammad Jalil from Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), was martyred in the line of duty while the one preceding him, Nabi Shah from Bannu region, retired from Peshawar police long ago.

Interestingly, the related official has also signed the list, signifying that it was not scrutinized.
The course has commenced at Swat Police Training School on March 16.
