In a few and far between incident, Lahore traffic police caught a driver who committed 74 traffic violations and had outstanding fines of Rs 36,400.
The traffic police also seized the documents of the car over violations and non-payment of fines.
As per the details shared by Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Muntazir Mehdi, the car was in use by a Nigerian national but was unregistered.

The driver had jumped traffic signals 43 times and was caught speeding 28 times. He also violated one-way traffic rules 3 times.
Muntazir Mehdi said that the footage obtained from Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA) cameras showed the driver violating the traffic rules.
The official also informed that since the Lahore traffic police have started the campaign against the violators, more than 20,000 cars’ documents have been seized.
“17 police teams are taking action against the owners of the cars with unpaid fines”, he added.
