Karachi police have restricted the movement of vehicles by barricades on major thoroughfares resulting in mass accumulation.

Karachiites expressed that several ambulances were witnessed stuck in road congestions and people suffered in traffic jams for hours on the first day of lockdown.
They wondered if the government had imposed a blanket lockdown in the city in disguise of partial lockdown.
Notably, Sindh government has announced a partial lockdown from July 31 till August 8 amid rising covid-19 cases.
